A trio consisting of the singer and bass player Guy Niederhauser, Claude-Alain Humberset on guitar, and Eric Fitze on the drums. The following year-and-a-half they played many gigs in front of enthusiastic audiences. Eight songs were also recorded during this time at the Studio 60 in Lausanne; yet, these have never seen the light of day. With the addition of Fran\u00e7ois Mayerat on keyboards, their song repertoire was completely rearranged and, for a while, they merely played occasional shows. Shortly thereafter, Olivier Staempfli also joined the band as the singer. Subsequently, Bad Luck completely bid farewell to the stage, for the purpose of recording a single. Then, on Christmas 1981, their first 7\u201d with the two songs \u201cHallucinations\u201d and \u201cDestin\u201d came out on Blue Cedar (BC2)\u2014the same label on which \u201cMonsieur Rasoir\u201d (BC1) by the Swiss Punk Band ASB had been released. The following year, the second single by Bad Luck was put out on Mad Music, with the two songs \u201cLe Motard\u201d and \u201cTerre de Feu.\u201d This 7\u201d was financed by Les Dragons, the local motorcycle club and the song was written by Guy Niederhauser and Christian Wyss, the founder and guitarist of the Psychedelic Rock band The Piranhas. In 2013, Robin Wills of the Barracudas posted \u201cLe Motard\u201d online on his blog PurePop and described it in the following way: \u201cI\u2019m a biker, not a delinquent, goes the chorus of this misplaced slice of not so-hell-bent-for-leather Biker Thug Rock.\u201d And furthermore: \u201cThe fact that the band came from Yverdon, a centre for watch-making in Switzerland, rather than Hicksville Oregon or Detroit partly explains their safe positioning. However, why does the singer spout these inanities with such venom, why do the guitars roar louder than any bike ever could? Why is the performance so bestial and why do they sound like they really mean it man?\u201d Probably, there is no definitive answer but, instead, this re-release of \u201cLe Motard\u201d in order for everyone to figure it out for themselves&#8230; The B-side song, \u201cNew World,\u201d actually appears for the first time ever; exclusively provided by the band for this release, because the track comes closer to the drive of \u201cLe Motard.\u201d Following this extraordinary 7\u201d single, there were more songs and gigs, also as a support act for Bernie Constantin. In 1986, Bad Luck called it quits. A few of the musicians participated in new projects and, from 1990 to 1996, Guy, Claude, Eric and Olivier even played together again, without keyboards though. They originated from the same primeval Punk ooze as the Nasal Boys in Zurich and were important protagonists for the Swiss Punk scene. The driving force was Sandro Sursock. Since the 1960s, he was already involved with the international Rock music jet set and, as of the 1970s, he was a singer in Geneva bands (Locomotive, Thunderbirds, The Slam). For the Bastards, the hyper-energetic Sandro and the ever-charismatic Marie-Pierre shared the vocals. Within a month, the band had already organised their first show at the Zofage and a dozen more would follow thereafter. In Spring 1978, the band also went to the THC Studios in Bernex (Geneva) and recorded nine songs. However, their sole 7&#8243; Single, with the three songs Impossibilities, Danger und Schizo Terrorist, was not released until autumn 1979, after the band had already split up. Marie-Pierre sings the title track Impossibilities by herself, a song about a girl who would rather masturbate than be with a boring guy that&#8217;s pursuing her. Sandro also sang with The Rednecks, another Garage Punk band from Geneva. Die 9-k\u00f6pfige Band machte vor allem mit witzigen Auftritten und handkopierten Tapes die Schweiz unsicher und spielten in jedem besetzten Haus oder AJZ in der Schweiz. W\u00e4hrend 1980 die meisten Aarauer Bands mit ihrem Schnarchrock k\u00e4mpften, kamen die Bermuda Idiots quasi aus dem Nichts und spielten sich mit ihrem Ska-Punk-Verschnitt in die Herzen der rebellischen Jugend. Ihre ganze Karriere lang wurde die Band schm\u00e4hlich untersch\u00e4tzt. 1997 erschien eine CD mit ihren besten Songs aus den f\u00fcnf in den 80er Jahren ver\u00f6ffentlichten Musikcasetten. Im Jahr darauf schrieb der ehemalige Schlagzeuger und damalige Herausgeber des Untergrundblattes Alpenzeiger, Wolfgang Bortlik einen ungemein witzigen, mit Wortspielen und Songzeilen gespickten Roman Wurst und Spiele. Dieser beschw\u00f6rt die Schweiz der tragischen Jungrebellen auf der Suche nach Sex, Drugs, Rock \u2019n\u2019 Roll &amp; einer Freundin herauf. It turned out so much better that we decided to form the Brains Of Humans. Andy left soon after again. He was replaced by Amos Rattus<br \/>(later in Infected and I.M.C.). We did one gig without a bassist and managed to clear the Kanzleischulhaus after 2-3 songs with only the Bahnhofpunx remaining loyal! Sadly things didn\u2019t work out too well with Amos-his hi pitched vocals mainly. Mind you in Infected he did sing the way we would have loved it!! A little later Chrigu Anarcho joined us after we have seen him with The Biggest Lie (to my knowledge their farewell gig,before they were called Victims Of Society-who I\u2019ve seen practise and live a few times-I offered them to release a 7\u2019\u2019 but sadly the band never recorded anything-and members went on to join Dark Age later and Dambi and F\u00e4be formed Monalisa Overdrive later).We got ready for a second gig,the legendary first punk\/metal gig in Z\u00fcrich at the GZ Heuried with the help of D\u00f6mi (the then Grumpfurts and later Fleisch bassist).Finally got a bassist a little later with Rino and that was the line up until the end.We set out to record an LP and a 7\u2019\u2019 but then Snoopy left the band. We finished the recordings(but not the LP or the 7\u2019\u2019) with the help of Luci (Grumpfurts and Fleisch) on guitar. That was supposed to be the end. Except for the final gig at the Gassechuchi that we played with 2 new folks on guitar and bass as the Pains of Humans. January 1988 and it was over\u2026so they thought! A year later Chrigu, Snoopy, me and the new bassist Kr\u00e4che reformed the band and we played more gigs than before,even made it to France for 2 gigs! Werecorded our 7\u2019\u2019 Game 88 (which is about the scandal about Mr&amp;Misses Kopp,not some nazi shit!). And we planned a tour of Europe, hence we did a crazy 2000 copies of the 7\u2019\u2019 on our own label Resistance Productions. But we started to disagree on a number of issues so the band split for good after a great gig with the german band EA 80.I n the break of B.O.H. I played in Chain Liberty, Decapitated and Orange World. So once B.O.H. split up we reformed Orange World, while Chrigu and Snoopy formed a band called Nameless and we actually played a gig with them some time later. But that\u2019s another story.The Brains of Humans was an anarcho punkband, that means our message was very important so we passed on lyric sheets at gigs. And we also had the legendary swiss flag that one of us got down from a flagmast in front of the shopping mall where we practised. This caused certain rumours that we were a nazi band. Obviously the guy responsible for that never saw the flag that we of course covered with barbed wire and the typical circle A\u2019s and all. After being kicked out of Sick Records (Andy and M\u00e4ge continued as Far Out Records). Danach recording von der LP Not-A-Talk-A in England, Gigs in London, dies noch unter dem Namen Nasal Boys. Diese werden dann von dem Major CBS in Expo umgetauft, da ihnen der Name zu anr\u00fcchig erscheint. Am 24. September 1978 Support-Show von Blondie und The Boys in Z\u00fcrich. Diese und weitere negative Erfahrungen im Zusammenhang mit der Musikindustrie waren ausschlaggebend f\u00fcr die Band-Aufl\u00f6sung Ende 1978. Als unmittelbare Folge entstand durch die Initiative von Rams (nun auch S\u00e4nger) und P\u00e4de im September 1979 die Urformation von THE BUCKS &#8211; ein Bandname inspiriert durch das englische Frauentrio The Slits, mit dabei auch das ph\u00e4nomenale Jungtalent Stevan Mosh aus Uster als geeigneter Gitarrist. Nicht unbedingt als Frust-Projekt zu bezeichnen, aber eines war klar: man wollte die markt-strategischen Mechanismen umgehen und v\u00f6llig autonom rocken. Dies gelang weitgehend und nach dem ersten spontan organisierten Auftritt nach einer Gross-Demo in Z\u00fcrich wurde die Z\u00fcrcher Szene auf die Band aufmerksam. AJZ Z\u00fcrich und Lausanne, nicht angek\u00fcndigte, spontane Auftritte von Z\u00fcrich bis Genf. Nach einem halben Jahr der absoluten Party-Askese und intensivem arbeiten im Proberaum, kam der typische Bucks-Sound zur Verwirklichung. Danach erste Hollandtour. 1981 Gigs in Berlin und weiteren Stationen in der BRD, Genf, Lausanne, Neuchatel bis Hinterb\u00fcmpen. Legend\u00e4rer, dass Konzert als Vorband von Plasmatics vom 1. Februar in Z\u00fcrich. Danach Volkshaus-Auftritts-Verbot, Festivals, zweite NL-Tour und der Film The Bucks In Holland von Ueli Meier. 1982 umstrittene Migros Tour, der Film: The Bucks \u2013 Ein Lebensgef\u00fchl des Schweizer TV, dritte NL-Tour, grosse CH-Tour (M-Tour) mit der Genfer Band The Code. Stevan Mosh verl\u00e4ssst die Band im Streit, wird w\u00e4hrend der Tour durch Yves Roth von The Code ersetzt. Ende Jahr wird das Genfer Management cancelled. 1983, Yves Roth verl\u00e4sst die Band w\u00e4hrend der Entstehung des Albums The Fun Out Of Depression und wird aushilfsweise ersetzt durch Peter Glanzman, dazu kommt Philip Kienholz als Keyboarder, da man im Studio vom reinen Gitarrensound abgewichen ist. Beide stehen f\u00fcr einige Shows zur Verf\u00fcgung, so auch f\u00fcr das legend\u00e4re Konzert mit den The Clash in Bern. Alben aus dieser Zeit sind: Brave And Stupid, Young And Weak In The Middle Ages und The Fun Out Of Depression. Das Jahr 1984 wurde mit neuem Management: Urs Ullmann \u2013 Fink&amp;Star in Angriff genommen.<br \/>Janos Szenogrady ( ex Frostschutz ) und Ralph Schnydrig ( ex- Crazy ) kommen als Gitarristen neu in die Band. Viele Gigs, u.a. im Zeleste, in Barcelona. Vor der Tour in Norddeutschland wurde Ralph (+2009) aus der Band entlassen, da sein \u00fcberm\u00e4ssiger Drogenkonsum nicht geduldet wurde. Die Band spielte ein komplett neues Repertoire. Allerdings wurden diese Songs nie auf einem Tontr\u00e4ger ver\u00f6ffentlicht. 1985 Rams beschloss nun nur noch bei Live Auftritten zu singen und Bass spielte Felice M\u00fcller ( ex. Gianna Nanini ). Weitere Gigs und Festivals. Im 1986 wurden The Bucks auf Eis gelegt und l\u00f6sten sich f\u00fcr knapp 10 Jahre auf. Zwischendurch hat sich Rams, nat\u00fcrlich nicht ohne P\u00e4de als Live-Drummer, auf eigene Pfade begeben und in der Folge die Alben: 1987 Romantic Challenge (im legend\u00e4ren \u201eCan-Studio\u201c bei K\u00f6ln, produziert von Ren\u00e9 Tinner und Helmut Zerlett), 1989 Straight (in England, mit britischen Musikern und Adam &amp; The Ant \/ Bow Wow Wow-Gitarrist Matthew Ashman. 1991 Rock Over The Village und 1993 Wrecked (wieder mit Ashman) zur Realisation gebracht. 1995 verl\u00e4sst Matthew Ashman die Band Rams aufgrund seiner angeschlagenen Gesundheit. Gefunden wird der neue Gitarrist Marco Jencarelli. Man spielt einige Shows und Festivals. Danach verl\u00e4sst ebenfalls Donovan Szypura die Band Richtung Australien. Man beschliesst, zum Trio geschrumpft und aufgrund dessen, sich wieder The Bucks zu nennen! Durch Auftritte und Ver\u00f6ffentlichnungen weiterer Alben sind sie bis heute in jeder westeurop\u00e4ischen Hauptstadt, unz\u00e4hligen St\u00e4dten und D\u00f6rfern auf grossen, kleinen oder gar keinen B\u00fchnen dem gerecht geworden, was man landl\u00e4ufig als Rock\u2019n\u2019Roll bezeichnet. R\u00f6bi W\u00e4lti, Richi Egli und Remo Schnetzer, alle drei vormals bei X-tra, jammten nach deren Aufl\u00f6sung zu dritt ohne Drummer daf\u00fcr mit Schlagzeugcomputer. Darauf stiessen Drummer Maurizio &#8220;Mogly&#8221; Trov\u00e9 sowie S\u00e4ngerin Manuela Hutter dazu. Drummer Maurizio &#8220;Mogly&#8221; Trov\u00e9 verliess die Band und wurde durch Ditschgi Gutzwiller ersetzt. The Buechsenbeers gewannnen 1988 am Schweizerischen Rockwettbewerb Vernier sur Rock einen der Hauptpreise, n\u00e4mlich eine Maxisingle produzieren zu k\u00f6nnen. Diese Maxi-Single wurde in Genf aufgenommen, produziert von J\u00fcrg &#8220;Boots&#8221; Stiefel, einem bekannten Musiker aus Wl. Danach folgten viele Konzerte, zum Beispiel in der Roten Fabrik als Vorband von RAMS.Weitere Stationen waren Kaserne Z\u00fcrich, Frison Fribourg, Reithalle Bern, Grabenhalle St.Gallen, Caf\u00e9 Mocca Thun, Sedel Luzern sowie &#8220;die grosse Fuhr&#8221; in der Tonhalle Wil. Danach ereilte die Combo, die kr\u00e4ftigen Punkrock mit Country-Einfluss spielte, das \u00fcbliche Schiksal einer Rocktruppe: Sex, Drugs und Zoff. Mit einem kurzen Comback im Jahre 1996 konnte nicht mehr an die vorherigen Erfolge angekn\u00fcpft werden. Emanuela Hutter war danach bei MD Moon und ist heute bei Hillbilly Moon Explosion, ehemals Hillbilly Headhunters.
